MOTS-c Pricing: September 2026
MOTS-c after the July 23, 2026 PCAC vote (7-5-2): research vials $43–$116, clinic programs $199–$445, and why pharmacies still cannot compound it.
MOTS-c cleared the FDA's compounding panel on July 23, 2026, by a 7-5 vote with two abstentions. That panel is the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee, or PCAC. It advises the FDA on which raw ingredients pharmacies may use to make patient-specific drugs under Section 503A of the drug law. A yes vote puts MOTS-c in line for that "503A bulks list" without putting it on the list. As of late August 2026, the FDA has published no proposed rule and no interim policy, so pharmacies still cannot lawfully compound MOTS-c. Our post-PCAC pricing hub tracks all six peptides that passed, and this explainer walks through why a panel vote changes so little on day one.
Vendor prices barely moved between April and September. Research vendors sell vials labeled "research use only," not for human use, with no prescription and no medical oversight, and they still list 10 mg of MOTS-c for $43 to $116. Alpha Omega Peptide sits at $43 and Core Peptides at $116, the same numbers we recorded in April. Ascension Peptides cut its 10 mg vial from $89.99 to $75, while Pure Bio Labs raised its price from $99.99 to $109.99, and that is the whole spread of change in five months.
Clinic pricing changed more than vendor pricing. Iowa IV, which we listed in April with three membership tiers, now operates as Longevity DSM in Des Moines and quotes a flat $299 for a 30-day MOTS-c supply. Sky Health Wellness in Las Vegas took down its MOTS-c page, and Happy Hormones MD removed its patient pricing sheet. BeyondMD, a telehealth program, still starts at $199 a month, while Perfect B in Doral, Florida charges $445 for an 8-week cycle of any single peptide, MOTS-c included. One compounded stack that contains MOTS-c is now sold by prescription through RxPepsDirect at $125 a vial, though the page marks it back-ordered.
What MOTS-c is, briefly. MOTS-c is a 16-amino-acid peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA, and lab and animal studies link it to insulin sensitivity and exercise capacity. Human trial data are thin, and FDA career staff said as much in briefing documents released June 29-30, 2026, which found that none of the seven peptides on the docket had enough evidence for the 503A list. The panel voted the other way. The uses the FDA reviewed for MOTS-c were obesity and osteoporosis. Insurance does not cover it, so every price below is out of pocket.
After the July 2026 PCAC vote
The PCAC vote is advice to the FDA rather than a rule, and it changed nothing about what a pharmacy may legally make. Under Section 503A, a pharmacy may compound a drug from a bulk ingredient only if that ingredient is on the FDA's bulks list or meets other narrow criteria, and MOTS-c is not on the list. These rows track what has and has not happened since July 23, 2026.

Telehealth and clinic programs
These prices bundle a provider visit with the peptide itself, and they are the only channel in this guide with medical oversight. Several April listings are gone: Sky Health Wellness removed its MOTS-c page, Happy Hormones MD pulled its pricing PDF, and Iowa IV now trades as Longevity DSM with a single flat price instead of three membership tiers.

Blends and 40 mg vials
MOTS-c is usually stacked with NAD+ or a growth-hormone peptide rather than run alone, which is why the blends below matter. One compounded stack now exists through a telehealth prescriber, and two research vendors sell 40 mg vials that cut the per-milligram price by a third or more. Research-use-only rows are labeled as such.
