Regulatory status (April 2026): TB-500 is not FDA-approved for any human indication. It was placed on the FDA's Category 2 list, restricting compounding. While the February 2026 HHS announcement moved 14 peptides back to Category 1, TB-500's status is uncertain — some sources indicate it was included in the reclassification, while others suggest it may remain Category 2 due to theoretical concerns about cell proliferation.
